For the past twenty years, Iris has been teaching illustration and drawing. She has been adjunct faculty in the art departments at Manchester Community College, the University of Hartford, the University of Connecticut and Central Connecticut State University. Iris currently teaches drawing and painting at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts as well as illustration and Fashion rendering at Manchester Community College. •Iris will be teaching a Children's Books class on Tuesday evenings in the Spring and Summer of 2010 at MCC. •Iris offers illustration classes and private consultations about writing and illustrating children's books in her studio in Glastonbury. •Iris travels to elementary schools all over New England to discuss writing and illustrating. •She is a sought-after speaker at conferences, schools and libraries. •Iris is available for book signings at bookstores and at any of her programs.
