Iris Van Rynbach studied at the Pratt Institute and Parsons School of Design in New York City and the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris.  She is the award winning author and illustrator of over a dozen books for children. Her 14th Children's Book book will be published in 2010.

Ms. Van Rynbach currently lives in Glastonbury, Connecticut with her photographer husband, her dog and her cat.  She has two grown daughters one who works in publishing in New York City and another who is an Equine Vet.
